Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe 2024 is an exciting car to drive. The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has a more aggressive look than the standard version, but it comes at the expense of a smaller rear headroom and luggage space. Aside from this, both vehicles have the same engine choices and AMG high-end variants. In the future, an electrical EQC version will be available. The EV is still built separately from the crossovers with combustion engines.
2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Redesign
The restyled exterior is one of the biggest changes to the new GLC Coupe, codenamed C254. The new Mercedes GLC Coupe, codenamed C254, has a restyled outside. The exterior features more angular LEDs that extend to a larger grille. It also has a more strongly-sculpted bonnet with tauter surfaces, a wider wheelhouse, and prominent feature lines on its flanks.
The rear features a new-look LED tail lamp, a more pronounced revival on the back of the doors for increased downforce, and, in the case of the AMG Line shown here, an integrated vortex element, as well as a pair of tailpipes. The updated version measures 4763mm long, 1890mm wide, and 1699mm high at the front. This is 31mm longer than the first generation 2024 Mercedes GLC Coupe which was introduced in 2016.
Interior Design
When the doors of the GLC Coupe are opened, the most obvious differences between it and the SUV version become apparent. Mercedes’ MBUX infotainment uses twin digital displays. The 12.3-inch digital display is paired with an 11.9-inch touchscreen, oriented portrait and slightly angled toward the driver. The door panels were reworked with a floating control group that houses controls for the seat adjustment and door handles. The controls for exterior mirrors, windows, and seat adjustments have been moved to a peninsula that can be reached by closing the door.
Mercedes has not yet revealed the price of the 2024 Mercedes GLC Coupe. However, we expect it to be around a few thousand more expensive than the boxier sibling. We’d estimate it will start at about $60K once it hits showrooms in the second half of 2023.
Engine & Specs
The base engine for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is a turbo-four 2.0-liter producing 258 horsepower. It is what admirers of the high-class want. The engine produces a torque of 295 pound-feet. The engineers recently re-evaluated the system, and it is now more powerful than before. It has no impact on fuel economy, which is still 25 mpg. The GLC 300 4Matic system of all-wheel drive is an optional feature that burns more gasoline.
