Porsche offers a variety of customization options. You probably know how much these options can increase the price. We’ve been testing the 718 Spyder RS to see how high it can go. It’s also a bit shocking.
Before we get into our Spyder RS fully equipped, it’s important to mention that the Spyder RS has a unique design. The 4.0-liter flat-six from the Cayman GT4 RS produces 493 horsepower naturally aspirated, which is enough to power the mid-engined roadster.
This will be the last 718 powered by combustion. It is lighter and has a lowered suspension. All of these factors are included in its starting price of 162,350 dollars, which includes a destination fee of $1,650.

Porsche offers many options for truly personalizing this vehicle. Exclusive Manufaktur, the company’s customization program, allows customers to customize their vehicles with custom door numbers and floor mats. They can also add carbon fiber door sills or keys. You will have to pay for the door sills as well, at $1,430 per piece. These extra features cost $4,750 and will make your Spyder RS unique. The possibilities are endless. This Spyder RS was painted Shark Blue for $3,540, the wheels were $15,640, and another $600 to make them blue.
Interior
The wheels are only required if you have the Weissach package and black leather/RaceTex interior, which we would have done anyway. This combination adds nearly half the cost of options to the price, which is over $30,000. Ceramic brakes are $8,000 and black calipers add $900. LED headlights, with the Porsche Dynamic Light System, cost $1500. There is not enough space to cover every Spyder RS feature.

They cost $360 more when you add the driver’s seat 3D printed in medium stiffness, which costs $2,930. The total cost of this unrestricted purchase was $68,860.
