Don’t expect the 2024 Kia Telluride to bring new changes and transformations because the 2023 model has done an excellent job with it. The Telluride has only had several years of existence, yet it can prove itself worthy. Telluride has become one of the most popular variants in the industry, primarily because of its many promising features. The price is worth everything: the punchy V6 unit, impressive towing ability, tons of tech features, luxurious (and also spacious) cabin, and so much more.
2024 Kia Telluride Redesign Plan
Although the 2024 Telluride may come with minor touchups, there won’t be anything significant or grandeur. The 2023 model managed to bring all the sophisticated and exciting updates on the interior and exterior, so don’t expect the 2024 model to come with significant transformation. Expect Telluride to wear a similar design and layout with all the new technologies.
Design and Layout
As was mentioned before, it’s unlikely that the 2024 model would get significant refreshed work. The 2023 model had brought new headlights, a new bumper design, and a new grille, but it’s safer to expect minor updates for the 2024 model, such as recent (appearance) packages and color options.
The Telluride may not be an athletic vehicle, but it is a fun and comfy ride. But then again, the 2023 transformation didn’t touch the mechanical aspects. It’s safe to say that this aspect hasn’t changed much and may remain for the following years.
2024 Kia Telluride Interior
The changes to 2023 also happened to the interior so that everything would remain fresh and suitable for the 2024 carryover model. One of the most significant changes (and also the most obvious ones) would be the vast screens. The digital instrument cluster goes along with the (updated) infotainment screen. Does it mean that the interior looks modern and sophisticated? Yes, absolutely!
The cabin accommodates three-row seating with an intelligent space arrangement. The third row is functional and friendly, while the first and second are pretty spacious. It has comfortable and high-quality equipment and materials, so driving long distances won’t be an issue. The cargo space is another nice thing about Telluride because you won’t have to worry about your stuff anymore.
2023 Kia Telluride Hybrid
As a carryover model, the 2024 Kia Telluride would still use the same V6 unit with a 3.8-liter capacity, delivering 291 hp. The Telluride is designed as a big SUV, but thanks to the punchy powertrain, it can move smoothly. The powertrain comes with an auto 8-speed transmission, making the entire setup feels somewhat well-balanced and calibrated. The base models would come with a front-wheel driving system, while all-wheel is an extra option. Fuel economy is set around 20 mpg for the city and 26 mpg for the highway. It may be a great offroader, but it is one of the most functional vehicles for daily activities.
Some people have speculated about the hybrid version. It’s possible because Hyundai and Kia are working together on a novel hybrid technology, which would likely be used for the bigger models. However, the hybrid version is entirely speculative at this point. Plus, Kia hasn’t made any official confirmation about it. So, it’s safer to assume that the hybrid version may not be available now.
Price and Release Date
The starting price may be set at around $35,000. Being a 2024 model, the Telluride would likely debut within 2023’s last quarter. Considering that the 2024 Kia Telluride is designed to compete against VW Atlas, Chevrolet Traverse, and Honda Pilot, Kia needs to be serious about their work.
