Infiniti QX50 2024 will be available with major changes. This includes improvements to the interior and exterior. We expect to see a more upright look with more standard features, and premium materials. Infiniti is also adding additional safety features.
According to recent reports, however, there will be no changes made under the hood. We expect the price to increase slightly, but not by much. Here’s what we know so far about the model. Sales will start next summer.
2024 Infiniti QX50 Redesign
The 2024 Infiniti QX50 will not be a total redesign. However, certain elements will change dramatically. This SUV now has a more aggressive design on the hood. The front fascia also features thinner headlights, a larger grille, and wider bumpers. Infiniti is adding chrome accents to the front fascia and C-pillar. The honeycomb grille remains so that the front section is as stunning as ever.
Roof rails are standard in some trim levels. Upper trims come with a panoramic moonroof as standard. Standard wheels are 19-inch aluminum alloys, with 20-inch rims available as an optional upgrade. Contrary to some rumors, we don’t anticipate new trim levels. The QX50 will again have 8.6 inches of clearance. There will be new exterior colors, but the popular Slate Gray and Sunstone Red options will remain.
Interior
The 2024 Infiniti QX50 cabin will also feature a few important improvements. The current platform will remain. The QX50 SUV is a spacious model, with 65 cubic feet of cargo space. The rear seats offer 38.6 inches of legroom which is very nice. Infiniti is delivering more upright materials this time around, which will make the comfort even better.
This model will also gain more standard features. Also, we hope to see more safety features and new packages. The base trim comes with an updated infotainment system and the same 8-inch screen. Upper trim levels offer real luxury, with leather seats and larger displays.
Engine, Transmission & MPG
We don’t anticipate any improvement in performance. We have said that the platform will not change. Infiniti QX50 2024 will have a 2.0-liter turbo four engine. This is the familiar gasoline engine with 268 horsepower. It also has 280 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine achieves 23 mpg in the city, and 29 mpg when driving on the highway.
The architecture supports front-wheel drive, but AWD is available as an option. Infiniti has a CVT automatic gearbox, so there will be no mechanical changes. This SUV is agile and has a great ride. A hybrid powertrain remains a rumor. We believe the QX50’s engine lineup will remain the same.
2024 Infiniti Release Date and Price
Sources claim that the new 2024 Infiniti QX50 is now closer to $40,000. The price has not been announced yet. The Autograph trim level, which offers real luxury, will still cost around $60,000. Sales will start next summer. We will have more information by the end of 2022.
