If everything goes as planned, there will be a 2024 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate trim, designed as the luxury level. Denali Ultimate has been considered to be added to some of the lineups, including the full-size Yukon SUV and the Sierra 1500 pickup truck. The company still considers adding more of this Denali trim to another variant. Maybe the Sierra HD would be a good candidate?
Nevertheless, GMC is adamant and confident that the Denali Ultimate package would be a game changer. And since it is designed as the luxury and high-end trim, it’s pretty reasonable if it is packed with sophisticated features and technologies, such as a Rear Camera Mirror, Technology Pack, Power Sunroof, and also (Diagonal) head Display with a Multicolor 15-inch design. So, what can you expect from this upcoming (and promising) line?
2024 GMC Yukon Denali Interior
The 2024 GMC Yukon Denali is said to experience a redesigned work, which means there would be updates and refreshing work here and there. However, the most significant updates would take place in the interior cabin. It supports a three-row layout with premium materials (wrapped in leather and also woven stitches). The front seats even have a massage function and adjustable 16-way technology.
On the dashboard, expect Paldao wood trim, aluminum trim, and an engraved (topographic) map. Since we are talking about the Denali Ultimate package, more features should be expected. Such as 22-inch (alloy) wheels, Vader chrome in many of its parts and elements, and high-end safety driving technologies. One of the most significant updates would be the Super Cruise, which would improve the function and performance of the vehicle. GMC would provide more details about their Yukon and the trims once it is ready to roll out.
The Exterior Aspect
Naturally, the exterior parts would also be improved. The most visible transformation would be tons of bright chrome and contrasting accents. The Vader chrome would be included in the front fascia, fender vents, accents, and grille, while polished chrome would be included in the door panels and windows. Dark chrome would be on the GMC badge. The exterior area would also improve work to match the enhanced interior cabin.
2024 GMC Yukon Electric
Since many automakers have been switching to electric vehicles, GMC is also caught up with the movement. The Yukon is set to compete against Ford F-150 Lightning, GMC Hummer EV, and Rivian R1T, which makes it possible that the company is thinking about electrifying its Yukon lineups.
As if it weren’t enough, there would be on-road and (light) off-road features that can improve comfort while cruising through bumpy and rugged terrain. Expect to find Auto Track two-speed transfer case, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, Magnetic Ride Control, Active Response 4WD system (along with the electronically limited slip differential), and others.
It seems that the Denali Ultimate would be running with the V8 unit of 6.2-liter capacity, which is designed as the standard powertrain. However, there is a possibility that it will be running with the diesel Duramax unit of 3.0-liter power. If true, the latter would be offered as the optional unit. Whatever the powertrain used, they would come with the auto 10-speed transmission with standard air suspension and magnet dampers.
Price and Release Date
GMC hasn’t released any official information about the pricing range, but many auto enthusiasts predict that the Yukon may start from around $80,000, considering the features. It means that Denali Ultimate may be as close as $100,000 – at least, it would be more than $90,000. Since the 2024 GMC Yukon is designed as 2024, the release date may be in 2023, around Fall time.
