The 2024 Genesis GV70 will be one of the best small luxury crossovers available. The 2024 Genesis GV70 is the third model, and the Korean manufacturer plans to make it a great car. We will see a version of the crossover that is all-electric with good performance and range.
The rest of the line will follow the same pattern. You can therefore rely on the two well-known engines that deliver outstanding performance. The interior of the GV70 is stylish and high-quality. There is an extensive list of standard and available equipment that comes at a fair price.
2024 Genesis GV70 Design
The new Genesis GV70 in 2024 will have the same design as its G70 brother. There are only small differences between fuel-powered and electric vehicles. The GV70 features a grille opening in the front which conceals a charging port for EVs. Upon closer inspection, we found that the side air vents were functional and there was an upgraded radiator grille at the bottom. The new GV70 has better aerodynamics as a result. Genesis removed the rear exhaust ports and the diffuser. This makes the GV70 look sportier in our opinion. We expect the manufacturer to also offer Blue, Red, and other colors in addition to Atacama Copper Matte.
The general design will not change much. The design of the all-electric model will be different, with a few elements to emphasize the fact that it is an all-electric vehicle, but its basic appearance will remain the same. The gasoline-powered version will remain the same but with a more recognizable design. Small changes such as wheels and color choices are also possible.
Interior
Interior design is no different. We have been delighted with the interior design of the Genesis GV70 for several years. The dashboard features traditional and extremely attractive designs as well as stunning materials. The interior is even more impressive with the extensive list of optional and standard equipment. Two rows of seats are available to accommodate adults.
Engine
The rest of the lineup will remain the same. We’ll see two familiar engines, starting with the 2.5-liter turbo four with a maximum power output of 300 hp. The standard 2.5-liter turbo-four engine is more than adequate, but the 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 with 375 horsepower offers a noticeably improved driving experience and sound.
The standard engine returns about 22 miles per gallon in the city and 28 on the highway. This is a very typical result for this segment. The V6 is much thirstier and returns roughly 19mpg for city driving, and 24mpg for highway driving, which is lower than average for a small, luxury SUV.
This will undoubtedly be the biggest innovation of the year. According to what we currently know, the 2024 Genesis GV70 is available in an all-electric version. This will have at least two variants. The power figures for one of the two models are not yet known. The dual-motor version will be all-wheel-drive and have a 429 horsepower output.
MPG & Fuel Economy
The two powertrains for the Genesis GV70 that are currently available on the market have good fuel economy. The 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine of the standard powertrain is rated at 22 mpg for city driving, 28 mpg for highway driving, and 24 mpg all around.
The top-of-the-line 3.5-liter dual turbocharged engine is fuel efficient. According to Genesis, it will have a fuel efficiency of 19 MPG for city driving, 24 MPG for highway driving, and 21 MPG overall. This is a good fuel economy for a powertrain.
2024 Genesis GV70 Price & Release Date
The 2024 Genesis GV70 will arrive in the 4th quarter of this year with a price starting at $44,000. The price for the all-electric version has not yet been disclosed. Key competitors include models such as the Volvo XC60 and Audi Q5.
