Acura TLX 2024 Honda’s commitment to going electric by 2040 includes the launch of the Acura electric SUV in the 2024 Acura model year. This week, American Honda announced its 2040 sales goal. It aims to sell 100% battery-electric or fuel-cell-electric vehicles.
In a press release, American Honda announced the development of “two large-sized EVs using GM Ultium Batteries”, one for Honda and the other for Acura. The two vehicles will be launched in North America as models for 2024. The Drive reports that Acura EV models will be produced by GM at their Spring Hill Assembly Plant in Tennessee.
2024 Acura TLX Reviews
Acura’s luxury division, Acura, will sell the Acura TLX in 2024. It is a four-door entry-level sedan. The TLX replaces the TLX and TSX. The Acura TLX first appeared at Acura’s Los Angeles Design Studio in the TLX Prototype. It was a sedan that would replace the TLX and TSX sedans.
The basic model was followed by the Technology, ASpec, Advanced, and Type S. Each of these models had a turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine with a 10-speed transmission and front-wheel-drive. Acura’s SHAWD system can be ordered. The 2024 TLX Type S is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged, V6 engine. It also comes standard with SH-AWD. TLX has also taken a step forward. The engine is slower and more thirsty than its rivals, but it is the touchpad controller that can frustrate the infotainment systems.

Some rival luxury sedans offer more rear legroom, but we believe the TLX has enough room for adults if they aren’t all NBA starting centers. If you want to significantly improve the Acura TLX, consider the Type S. It comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine that delivers 355 horsepower through a 10-speed transmission to all four tires.
This is a fun and fast luxury sports sedan with Brembo brakes that are stronger, a sportier suspension, and 20-inch alloys. This latest generation TLX will be the star of the show after several years of being pushed to the back against such strong competitors.
Interior

Safety

The 2024 Acura Tlx comes with several safety features, including crash spot monitoring, adaptive Cruise Control, and emergency brakinseveral-keeping assistance. Other features include a rearview camera, collision alert, high beams, rain sensor wipers, rear traffic alarm, perimeter parking camera systems, head-up displays, and parking sensors.
2024 Acura TLX Price & Release Date
The standard front-wheel-drive (FWD), Acura TLX 2024, starts at about $38,000. It’s an excellent deal when compared with rival sedans like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi. This level of power is a turbocharged 4-cylinder with 272 horsepower, coupled with a 10-speed auto. Budget around $2,200 if you want to add an all-wheel-drive (AWD).
The added speed and power of the V6-driven TLX Type S require a significant price increase. The price of the 4-cylinder turbo is much less expensive, but we still love the extra vibrancy.
