If you have been waiting for any sedan line from Hyundai, you may be happy to know that the 2024 Hyundai Elantra sedan will likely get redesigned work. The Elantra is known as this lightweight sedan with bells and whistles. It should be interesting to learn what the company has for the redesigned project. And it would be interesting to see what the possible outcome would be.
2024 Hyundai Elantra N
Among the changes happening to the Elantra, many auto enthusiasts are curious about the updates happening to the N Line. Everyone knows that the Elantra has been designed as a family sedan that can accommodate three people. Still, the 2024 model is said to house more without compromising the cabin’s convenience, function, and comfort.
In terms of design, it’s most likely that there would be a new grille style with lines (and curves) on the body and then topped off with new shape taillights. Besides the updates on the exterior, there would also be redesign touchups to the interior, one of which is the improved dashboard with possibly metal trims and better materials. The N line will be running on a powerful unit, most likely a turbo four generating 401 hp. Detailed information is still needed for the upcoming Elantra, but we should get there soon enough.
Interior Cabin
One of the most significant transformations of the 2024 Hyundai Elantra would be the cabin. The redesigned work expects the sedan to be longer and broader, with a higher gravity center. Expect the cabin to be plush and comfortable, with an improved modern ambiance that makes it super comfortable even during long hours of drive. The seating position, especially for the driver, is said to be better than before, so we can be hopeful about it. The current Elantra still needs some improvement, but it doesn’t mean Hyundai won’t consider them.
Powertrain and Performance
The SE and SEL trim levels would run on inline-four units with a 2.0-liter capacity, delivering 147 hp. This would be the standard powertrain. It would be paired with CVT. Although the performance of the Elantra may need improvement, it has enough juice and punches to help you get through the day – and the busy road situation. There are also two extra options if you want more power from the Elantra.
The N Range would be running on the four-cylinder unit with a 1.6-liter capacity that generates 201 hp, coming together with either manual 6-speed transmission or the multiple-speed dual-clutch system (complete with the computerized transmission). The more robust inline four units w2.with 0-literature capacity can churn 275 hp. The manual transmission would have 28 mpg for the city and 36 mpg for the highway. The regular Elantra is said to have 33 mpg for the city and 43 mpg for the highway, while the N Series may ‘only’ come with 25 mpg for the city and 34 mpg for the road.
Price and Release Date
One thing that makes the Elantra likable is the price. With $19,500 as the starting price, the line can put itself in one of the most affordable (lightweight) vehicles without compromising performance and quality. The Elantra N Selection is $24,200, while the highest trim is around $25,500.
It’s unclear whether Hyundai will stick with the price range for their upcoming line. Because of the redesign work, the price would likely be increased by several thousand. The release date is also unknown, but it should be ready in 2023. Let’s wait for Hyundai to provide more details of their 2024 Hyundai Elantra finally, shall we?
