What’s happening to the 2024 Jeep EV? Jeep has an ambitious plan to electrify its lineups for the upcoming years. Although they already have big plans to electrify their Grand Cherokee and their Wrangler (by introducing the 4xe models and plug-in hybrids), the company hasn’t made the complete all-electric type. However, such a situation is about to change as the Stellantis would introduce their ever-first all-electric ride, with the codename of Jeep EV.
Design and Style
What would the upcoming EV Jeep look like? Jeep has just recently released the teaser images of the ride. In terms of size, it seems similar to the Compass compact SUV. And just like other Jeep models with their signature styles, Jeep EV would have a rugged and robust design, coming together with a seven-slot grille, which is pretty iconic. The teaser images feature black and yellow contrasting hues.
Stellaris Daring Electrification Innovation
Stellaris wants to electrify its lineups by 2023 by completely removing the gas-powered units and electrifying them. That’s why they have the so-called Dare Forward 2030 plan. The initiative is about electrifying Stellantis vehicles, so there won’t be any gas-powered units remaining by 2030.
The biggest news (and outcome) of this Dare Forward 2030 is the 2024 Jeep EV. But then again, Stellantis also has plans for many of its upcoming electric rides. After Jeep EV, the next electric ride would be the RAM ProMaster van. For the 2024 model, Stellantis would launch the Jeep Wrangler EV together with RAM 1500 EV (pickup) truck.
It seems that Stellantis is confident about their upcoming electric vehicles, especially RAM 1500 EV. Carlos Tavares, Stellantis CEO, stated that RAM 1500 EV would be able to defeat other electric trucks, including Rivian R1T, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Tesla Cybertruck, and even Ford F-150. Stellaris is sure that their upcoming RAM would beat these trucks in terms of driving range, charging time, payload, and towing. Well, that’s a pretty snarky and confident claim. It would be interesting to have them hold up to their words.
About the Specs
Again, Jeep remains hush-hush about this all-electric vehicle. They haven’t provided any information about the Jeep EV specs. But there is no need to worry. If their timeline is accurate, they should launch the EV in 2023, which is only a year away. And we should get more details about the ride soon enough. A lot of auto enthusiasts have made predictions about the vehicle. They believe the EV would be coming as an all-wheel and rear-wheel driving system for a starter. Plus, it should have 250 miles for its driving range.

Trims and Price Ranges
Although the company hasn’t provided any details about the price range, many have predicted that the new EV would have an increased price range. Compared to the compact SUV Compass, the price of the Jeep EV would be higher. The starting price would be higher than $35,000. It seems that the EV would mirror Compass’ lineups. The primary Sport, for instance, would be higher than just $35,000, while the Latitude is higher than $37,000. The Limited would be higher than $41,000, while the Trailhawk would be more than $42,000. The highest trim, the High Altitude, may be higher than $45,000.
Release Date
They are designed as the 2024 model means that this vehicle would be launched early in 2023. It is available at (Jeep) dealerships all over America and should be available in some international markets. The company hasn’t made any official release about their pre-order management, so we should wait for them for the release of the 2024 Jeep EV.
