The Toyota Corolla currently has two powertrains: hybrid and non-hybrid. The non-hybrid version comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It produces 169 HP and 151 lb-ft torque. All this power is transmitted to a front-wheel drive standard drivetrain via a CVT Transmission.
The second powertrain it uses is a hybrid. It is powered by a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine with a hybrid system that generates a power output of 138 HP, and torque of 105 lb. ft. This hybrid powertrain can be paired with an all-wheel-drive drivetrain with ECVT Transmission.
