New spy photos of the Lamborghini Urus 2024 are now available. The prototype is wearing almost no camouflage. We can now see the new, more aggressive front fascia. Lamborghini sold 8,405 cars last year despite the pandemic. Urus accounted for almost 60% of that total.
The next model is likely to have some interior upgrades as well, including new materials and technology. The engine will be the same as the current model: a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo, V-8 with 641 horsepower.
2024 Lamborghini Urus Redesign
New spy photos reveal a few tweaks to the 2024 Lamborghini Urus. The prototype is almost completely camouflage-free, which lets us see the changes made to the front fascia. The Lamborghini Urus appears to have some extra vents on the outer edges. These vents, also known as air curtain vents, allow for more airflow around the sides of the vehicle.
The model spied also has a new hood, which features vents to improve engine cooling. We also saw some changes to the Urus’s back. It now looks more aggressive. The Urus features new graphics on the taillights and an improved exhaust system.
Cabin Upgrades
The interior of the Lamborghini Urus 2024 will also be updated. The jet-fighter style is still present but with plenty of faux suede and carbon fiber trim. The Urus offers 22 cubic feet of cargo space, but this is reduced by 2 cubic feet when the rear bucket seats are added.
The new model is equipped with the same technology as Audi’s models, including a large infotainment screen and reconfigurable gauges. This SUV has a digital gauge cluster and two touchscreens in the center stack. Both screens feature crisp graphics and support Android Auto, Apple CarPlay SiriusXM HD Radio, navigation as well as a 10-speaker sound system.
Engine Specs
The 2024 Lamborghini Urus is likely to continue using the same engine. There is no reason to change anything because the 4.0-liter V-8 twin-turbo is among the most powerful machines in its class. This model has 641 horsepower and competes with the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Hellcat, which produces 707 horsepower.
It also comes standard with an automatic eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive. If you didn’t already know, the Urus can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds. This model is also a heavy drinker and gets an estimated 12 mpg city and 17 mpg highway.
Safety
The 2024 Lamborghini Urus offers an array of driver assistance technologies as standard or optional, including a camera with night vision. The key safety features are a blind-spot monitor, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross-traffic warning.
Comfort
How comfortable is Urus? The Urus is remarkable for its comfort. Front seats with massage, heating, and ventilation are the best in class. Optional rear captain’s seats provide adequate lateral support to the whole family. The climate functions are also quiet and powerful.
Standard drive modes are quiet. Select the Sport or Corsa modes, and you’ll hear the engine and exhaust. Standard drive mode is composed and flat, except for the odd thunk on bumpy surfaces. (This may be due to the 22-inch wheels in our test car).
Technology
What’s the technology? The Urus has three main displays that are easy to read. Voice controls are responsive to natural language, and they support your phone if you’re using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The connectivity includes wireless charging, four 12-volt outlets, and four USB ports (but no USB-C). The 21-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo is a worthwhile upgrade because of its clarity and presence.
The proximity sensors are a driver’s assistance that can be adjusted. At first, they were a bit sensitive, but their intensity can be changed. Extensive exterior cameras reduce the risk of hitting a wheel, bumper, or other object. Adaptive cruise control also reacts quickly and smoothly.
Stores
What’s the storage like? The storage is adequate for a vehicle of this size with a sporty focus. The rear suspension can be raised and lowered from the cargo space, which is a nice feature. However, the second-row captains’ chairs are not foldable and limit the flexibility of the cargo space. The reverse-facing car seats were installed without any issues and with minimal impact on the front seat comfort.
The front and rear seats each have two cupholders. The pockets on the doors can hold a large bottle of water. The armrest under the front seat doesn’t offer much space for storage, but there is a pocket in the center console behind the armrest that can hold a small bag.
Exterior
The 2024 Lamborghini URUS could be on the market in the second half of this year. The performance SUV will likely come in a single level of specification and include a fully-electric powertrain. The MLB Evo platform is used by VW to build vehicles like the Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q8, and Porsche Cayenne. The 2024 Lamborghini Urus, however, has raised it to new heights.
The camouflage is used to conceal a development model of Urus. The front of the car is much simpler and does not have horizontal Y shapes. It also has rectangular fog lights and vertical inlets on the front. This is likely to be for testing near Arctic Circle but not production. The hood has been redesigned with vents on both sides. The bumper and taillights were restyled.
2024 Lamborghini Urus Price & Release Date
The 2024 Lamborghini Urus SUV isn’t a chip at all. This model is close to a quarter million dollars. The base model starts at $229.500, while the upper models, like Pearl Capsule, cost $246.000, and Graphite Capsule, a little under $250.000.
It is still the best-valued model in the Italian manufacturer’s line. According to the available information, the new SUV will be on sale as a model in 2024. It will continue to compete with the Bentley Bentayga and Range Rover Sport as well as Porsche Cayenne.
