Why wouldn’t Chevrolet be interested in reviving and producing the future 2024 Chevy Chevelle, just like what they did in the past? Don’t you think it’s a shame to see the current lineups of cars today and miss out on some of the best models? In the past, Chevy Chevelle was a massive hit with super high popularity. So, it begs a question of why Chevy doesn’t want to revive such a colossal success anymore. Why wouldn’t they revive it and gain the same popularity once more? Modern (auto) manufacturing seems to forget that famous model.
2024 Chevy Chevelle Convertible: The Possibility of New Chevelle
Trans Am Worldwide is planning on developing the Chevelle by bringing up the 70s vibe to the design. They have made a model, name tag 70/SS, having a perfect combo of the modern and the classic. The platform is modern with a classic style. Chevrolet might not make the new Chevelle, but it doesn’t matter who can make the vehicle, right? The future Chevelle is indeed created by Trans Am Worldwide, an auto company from Tallahassee that had turned the Chevy Camaro into a modern version of the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from the 70s. It’s safe to say that the company did a marvelous job.
2024 Chevy Chevelle Hardtop
On the outside, the vehicle comes with a new front end and reshaped fenders, along with quad headlights, a new chiseled (Chevelle) front bumper, and twin square grilles. The rear area has been extended on the back with square taillights and a new trunk lid. There is a removable hardtop feature for those wanting the coupe look.
For the interior, you can see the largely reminiscent of Camaro with 70s retro style, including the trellis shift lever and seating area. So far, those are the details available for the interior cabin. There is no information about the features, technologies, and driver assistance technologies.
Powertrain and Performance
Not only the crew was able to do an impressive job (paying homage to the classic vehicle while bringing it to the modern setting), but they are also doing quite an incredible job for the powertrain. There are several options to deliver high horsepower numbers. The car has its standard LT1 450 hp, but buyers are free to choose to upgrade it to 900 hp, even with a twin-turbo LS6/X 454 that can generate 1500 hp. That’s an impressive number.
The powertrain would be coming along with manual as well as automatic transmission. There are also upgraded brakes, wheels, and suspensions. The details for each spec are still unknown, but rest assured that it would be a powerful and promising vehicle that is worthy of the Chevelle nameplate. Rumor has it that the 2024 Chevy Chevelle would offer 10 modern exterior colors, with available customizable shades. So, if you don’t like the available colors, you can customize the shade on your own.
2024 Chevy Chevelle Pricing
In terms of price, the Chevelle starts at around $150,000. Yes, it’s a hefty number, but it’s considered worthy because of the classic vibe and elegant stance. This price is for a V8 unit with a 6.2-liter capacity, generating 450 hp.
People are wondering whether Chevrolet themselves would make an actual Chevelle. According to some sources, Chevrolet is working on their so-called new Chevelle Concept, introduced in 2021. It’s unclear of how many different concepts Chevrolet would have or run before they make it into production. And if Chevy does make the Chevelle into production, it’s possible that the price tag would be similar to the Chevelle SS. Further details about the 2024 Chevy Chevelle should be revealed later.
